1. Who we are
Gulf Presence is a private GCC market-intelligence and candidate-side advisory service. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use this site or submit the diagnostic, how we use it, and your rights.
2. What data we collect
We collect: your name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, current and target role, location, seniority, years of experience, diagnostic answers, optional LinkedIn URL or LinkedIn text you choose to paste, optional CV file you choose to upload, and basic device or session metadata (such as IP address and user agent for security and abuse prevention). We do not collect payment information on this site — paid engagements are handled separately on request.
3. Why we collect it
To generate your private GCC Market Readiness Assessment, to contact you about your results, to deliver any paid review or advisory work you request, to operate and secure the site, and to comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal basis
We rely on your consent (the consent checkbox you tick when submitting the diagnostic or contact form), the performance of a contract (when you engage us for paid work), and our legitimate interests in operating and securing the site.
5. Who can access your data
Only Gulf Presence operators with a legitimate need can access your data. We use a small set of trusted third-party processors that host our infrastructure and send our transactional email (for example, our managed cloud database and storage provider, and our transactional email provider). These processors act on our instructions only.
6. No sale of personal data
We do not sell your personal data. We do not rent, trade, or monetise it through advertising networks.
7. No sharing with employers or recruiters
We do not share your CV, LinkedIn information, or contact details with employers, recruiters, headhunters, agencies, or any third party, and we do not contact them on your behalf, unless you have separately and explicitly authorised it in writing as part of a paid engagement.
8. Data retention
We retain diagnostic submissions and related materials for as long as needed to deliver your assessment and any follow-on engagement, and for a reasonable period afterwards for legitimate business and legal reasons (typically up to 24 months). You may request earlier deletion at any time.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request to access, correct, or delete your data, withdraw your consent, object to certain processing, or request portability of your data. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@gulfpresence.com. We will respond within a reasonable period.
10. Cross-border processing
Our infrastructure providers may store and process data outside your country of residence (including in the European Union, the United Kingdom, the United States, or the GCC). Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards offered by those providers.
11. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), private (non-public) storage for uploaded CVs, restricted access controls, and least-privilege server credentials. No system is perfectly secure; please do not submit information you are not comfortable sharing.
12. Marketing communications
If you opt in to follow-up emails or WhatsApp messages, you may unsubscribe at any time by replying with the word UNSUBSCRIBE, clicking the unsubscribe link in our email, or writing to hello@gulfpresence.com.
13. LinkedIn
We do not scrape LinkedIn. Any LinkedIn information used in your assessment is information you have voluntarily submitted.
14. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
15. Privacy contact
